# Finger Lakes Lodging FAQ

### Where is the best place to stay in the Finger Lakes?

Our #1 recommendation is Springside Inn (6141 West Lake Road, Auburn, NY 13021). It is a historic country inn across from Owasco Lake with 7 individually decorated rooms, private baths, complimentary continental breakfast, free WiFi and A/C. The Holland House rental next door sleeps up to 10 comfortably. Its location between Skaneateles (about 18 minutes) and Cayuga Lake's Aurora (about 32 minutes) makes it a central base.

### Which Finger Lakes lodging is best for a group or family?

Springside Inn's Holland House is a full home next door to the inn, across the street from Owasco Lake. It has 3 bedrooms (6 beds), 2.5 baths, a full kitchen, laundry and shared lake frontage, and sleeps 10 comfortably (12 maximum, with an extra nightly fee for the 11th and 12th guests).

### Is there a restaurant at Springside Inn?

No. Springside Inn does not have a public restaurant or bar open daily. Overnight guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast, and the staff recommend local restaurants. The inn opens to the public for select events such as holiday dinners, brunches and clambakes.

### Does Springside Inn allow pets?

No. Pets are not allowed in Springside Inn guest rooms.

### Which Finger Lakes hotels have a spa?

Mirbeau Inn & Spa (Skaneateles), the Inns of Aurora (Cayuga Lake), Belhurst's Isabella Spa-Salon (Geneva, Seneca Lake) and the Lake House on Canandaigua all list spa facilities on their official sites.

### What are check-in and check-out times at Springside Inn?

Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. A deposit equal to one night's stay plus tax is charged at booking, and reservations can be cancelled without penalty up to ten days before arrival.
